How Project Nexus Works

Simple steps to connect, bid, and build — for homeowners and contractors alike. We made it easy so you can focus on what matters.

1

Create Your Free Account

Sign up in under 2 minutes — no credit card required. Homeowner accounts are always free with unlimited project postings.

✓ Free forever. No hidden fees. No subscription required.
2

Post Your Project

Describe what you need — from mowing your lawn to building a 10,000 sq ft custom home. Upload photos, measurements, blueprints, PDF plans, and any details that help contractors understand the scope of work. The more detail you provide, the more accurate your bids will be.

📎 Every project welcome — no job too small, no build too large.
3

Receive Bids from Verified Contractors

Qualified, insured contractors in your area review your project and submit detailed bids. You'll be notified by email as bids come in — usually within hours for common projects.

🛡️ Every contractor must upload a valid certificate of insurance before they can bid on your project.
4

Compare & Choose the Best Fit

Review bids side by side. Check each contractor's profile, credentials, insurance certificate, past reviews, star ratings, and work history. Choose the contractor that best fits your budget, timeline, and needs.

⭐ Read verified reviews from real homeowners who've hired this contractor before.
5

Hire & Manage Your Project

Accept a bid to officially hire your contractor. All communication, documents, and updates stay organized in one place — no more scattered texts and emails across multiple apps.

💬 Message, share files, and track progress all within Project Nexus.
6

Rate & Review When Done

Leave a 1–5 star rating and written review. Your honest feedback helps other homeowners make informed decisions and holds contractors accountable for the quality of their work.

✓ Great contractors build their reputation. Poor performance is documented and reviewed.
!
